All,
As most of you may recall it's been almost 12 months since I first publicly announced that kellyhaunts.com.au will be going live. I have since attempted to build my own site, on and off for almost 6 mths, and as a result I have finally completed and uploaded my sister site www.kellyhaunts.org
Kellyhaunts.org will eventually be replaced with kellyhaunts.com.au
My sister site, which I refer to as kellyhaunts.org is a work in progress and will have regular updates and a better formated Gallery. I welcome all to write in and take advantage of my "writings page"
Most of the pages on kellyhaunts.org ie: writings and Sacramento will eventually roll over to Kellyhaunts.com.au and will continue to grow from there.
I would like to acknowledge the following for their support and assistance in helping me in one form or another. Bruce Johnston, Kelyvn Gill, Sharon Hollingsworth, Dave White, Bill Denheld, Matt Shore and finally my girl Mel.
Please feel free to email me your thoughts and how to better improve kellyhaunts. I'll endevour to create new pages and keep you all updated on my research as they come to hand.

All,
Due to the fact I havent set up a proper Gallery, I wasnt able to upload more pic's of other worked quarrys. I have reason to believe that Ned may have infact worked at another quarry close by.....more work is required to confirm my theory. I just require one document with a date to confirm this....
Hey Dave are ya sure you wanna dive the murky depths of the yarra lol we'll have to leave it to Davo

| Congratulations Joe,looks like you have put a lot of time and late nights into this venture.I don't know how much more can be found about the Kelly story but people seem to find more as each year goes by.About the only things yet to be discovered are Neds birth details and the correct site for the SBC shooting.I am sure researchers like you Joe will once again add yet more to this fascinating part of our Aussie history......Regards Bob |

Congratulation Joe, the website looks great. A highlight for me is the old maps and how you can see how things have changed over the years, a thing that has always fascinated me. I’ll have to set aside some time to have a good look over all your content. Well done.
Fitzy.

Bravo Joe! A most exciting addition to Kelly Kulture. I salute you. Great photos too. The Hulk research is most exciting. Shiver me timbers - it is excellent. An archeological dig would be exciting, but this being Australia, it is more likely to be covered with a lovely steel and glass 'development'. Ah well . .

Hi Fitzy, captjack,
Thanking you both for the kind words.....I'm humbled.
I had originally planned to start the sacramento story as early as 1803 and take it as far as 1890....but felt I may bore a few readers and decided against it, perhaps I'll add to it when kellyhaunts.com.auwhen it finall goes live.......we shall see.
Fitzy, when I came across an early survey map of Hobson's bay it showed a different course of the Yarra river! I couldn't make sense of this at first, until I figured out that the original course of the yarra had been altered to what it is now..... so yes I agree its great to see how things have changed since the early years. I could go on for hours & amaze a few of you of just how much Williamstown and Port Melb has changed in just a few short years since the first ships anchored off the shores of Hobson's Bay.
Once again thank you.

Thanks for the Congrats guys.
Norm its been a while since we last spoke hows things going? hope your well. Hey Steve I think I may have to push for kellyhaunts.com.au to come on line a little quicker.....my .org site will not allow me to do certain things with pages.....I learn these things as I go on.....and patience what patience its driving me mad...... lol no not really its all good I'm enjoying it.

Hey Joe,
Yeah I dropped off for a while, as you do with with a new apprentice human demanding your time, I think the only word to describe it is busy. But hopefully things are settling down now and I can turn my hand back to my own Kelly pursuits. Hope your doing good too mate
